Mohammed Saadulla
After graduation in 1964, Saadulla took to film-art seriously and pioneered in establishing the film society movement in the North-East. He finished a crash course in Film Appreciation from the FTII, Pune (1968) and soon after made his maiden feature film Ganga Chilonir Pakhi (as Associate Director and Co-Script Writer) with late Padum Barua. Thereafter he associated with a number of film makers as script writer and cameraman, both film and video formats.
The Terra Incognito is an exercise film of the student of the Motion Picture Photography branch, PVTI, Photography Training Institute, Guwahati. Mr. Saadulla wrote the script and directed (together with the student) and helped in editing at the in-house facility.

Times are changing now. All we want some spicy or hot news in every morning, which are basically related with violence, corruption or terrorist activities. Since these type of news destroys the humanity between us, we become hungry for them. When there will be no humanity in us, there will be no difference between an animal and a human being.
The film focuses on the psychology of a sensible person after his realization that how we are loosing humanity because as a result of increment of bad news.At the end we can say that all changes were not well received, but changes is an axiom in life and the process continues…..
Deepjyoti Handique basically known as a Graphics Designer and 3d Animator has a passion of Film making. However he has completed many projects related to films, Documentary and TV programs, this will be his Directorial Debut in public.

Born on 2nd December, 1984 in Guwahati. Have a passion about music, drama and story writing from a small age and also a great deal of interest in various art forms and in the film line. Now studying about film making & editing at JCFTI.

The deadline for submission of entries is over. The overwhelming response received from across the country is indeed an encouragement in our endeavor. Thanks to all participants. The preview and selection will be done tomorrow by our distinguished jury comprising of eminent filmmakers of the region, Bidyut Chakraborty, Sanjib Hazarika and Altaf Mazid. We will hopefully be able to announce the results by evening. So do log in. Wish you luck!
